We have had such a good season, I can't see a thread for the Players'Awards last night. Not really surprising as only three or four players deserved any awards.
Let's hope Mr Pellegrini does good business in the summer,otherwise this time next year we will possibly be in a similar state.

We have been playing well of late and they may have half an eye on the cup final the following week, so we have a good chance.
Deeney's been full of it lately, so it would be nice to shut him up! I do wish we had signed him though, instead of that disaster Carroll.

I don't think I could take another defeat by that Astra Fireworks team so it was good we didn't qualify for the Europa qualifying rounds.

Yes we can of course because it's in our own hands completely.
Trouble is how many times just this season have we been able to go seventh etc by beating a team around us and simply just not shown up?
3 or 4 times I think. So don't expect too much. For me winning this changes the season to a decent one from another sub par one.

I might be being pessimistic, but I have a feeling that the players will put in a half arsed performance against Watford and lose, Palace will beat Bournemouth, and we will once again finish below them. If that happens that will piss me off and stink out the season.
Watford will want to win their last home game of the season and are playing for places in the cup final.
I’m often wrong though so hopefully that is the case this time.

We’ve had nothing to play for for months, but the last few games at least have showed that we’ve got a bit of fire, even for dead rubbers.
It’s a good sign for next year, I reckon.

I actually think we could win at Watford. They’ve nothing to play for either in terms of the league, especially as they’ll have their minds firmly set on the cup final. We need a point to secure even 11th with Palace on our tail. I’m plumping for a win, oh, we also owe them one after our appalling Display against them st home.

Will that motivate our players, who to be fair have been putting in good performances.
It is sad we are not 7th, it was there to take.
Bruno, is right we should have 5-8 more points. Leicester, 2 points dropped due to disallow goal that was not off side. Liverpool, 2 points dropped due to an off side goal that stood. Man U 1 or 3 points dropped due to 2 soft penalties, Man City, 1 point dropped due to soft penalty.
On the other hand, I expected wins against Cardiff, Bournemouth and Burnley. Also if we want to be 7th above the teams around us, we should be beating them and in the “push” for 7th lost to Everton, Watford and Wolves...
Maybe we are where we should be and need to do better next year...

A valid point.
My point is how hungry are our players?
It's not just our players who lack any ambition to finish 7th as most players don't relish the thought of cutting short their holidays to compete in the early stages of the Europa cup.
It means a lot to loads of us though.considering the chance of West Ham ever competing in the champions league is nothing more than a pipe dream for now.

I doubt it.Obvouly we'd all rather us finish up in the top half but after fucking up finishing 7th which wasn't looking beyond the realms of reality a month or so ago it makes very little difference apart from a couple of million quid wich is fuck all nowadays in the premiership.
